Gee this is disappointing. Just when I get the hang of art bashing, nobody wants to bash anymore?

I had an art bash, and it was a smash.

The news told me to follow the passage, but when I did it made no sense to me.

I agree nobody wants to bash? It's weird how this site has become so dead and fried? I often wonder if perhaps art gazers simply got sick of artsy nudes and decided to go for the real thing and everyone is spending all their time at porn sites? Facebook isn't really that populated either, really, so where is everyone??? Has everyone had their internet cancelled due to the depression?

I think that over time art has over complicated it's own concepts. It is at a point now where it has resolved itself into the either. It means that good art and bad art cannot be distinguished anymore.

Just because the Tuatara survived the ice age, it doesn't mean that it was responsible for the extinction of the dinosaurs.

Isn't it amazing that we live in a time where more people cannot relate with the wisdom in art, then there are people who can? And that the people who could offer the wisdom of art on one day, will not get along with the people who can on another?

The biggest mistake in contemporary art, that the condition is fueled by the pain nobody actually experienced.

Because 'THEY' never took the credit.

*IMAGINE* contemporary art is one of Nasa's Pioneer or Voyager probes drifting deeper into space. Essentially put, the launch pad was Modernism. People chose secularization and art is going along for the piggyback ride. You say "It means that good art and bad art cannot be distinguished anymore"...I say, your statement is made from the Post-Modern framework. But you fail to comprehend that the "language" has changed and so too have the rewards.

'Your statement is made from the Post-Modern framework. But you fail to comprehend that the "language" has changed and so too have the rewards.'

I get it, I can only 'do' it once in a blue moon.
