I am in the initial stages of organising an art aution/charity event.  I am looking for 10-12 Artistis to submit a maximum of 2 pieces.  My idea is to showcase emerging artists, ideally those who are looking for help, a platform to lauch or just showcase their work.  50 % of the sale of any art piece will go to charity, with the highest bidder on the day being able to chose from a list charities (chosen by the artists).  The proceeds will be allocated to just the one charity.  I am looking to host the event in a few months time, but nned to find artisits! .... I am in conversations with a few venues at the moment as well, once I have a venue and artists then I will arrange a meeting to go over the finer details and also send out information packs.
