What is it with the weird fascination that some here have (Quinton) with Jon key? I'm sure he couldn't really give a shit about you.

I apologise (sincere face) for being of topic.

Don't tell on me.

When The Lee Cunlffe returns we shall all be set free.

nobody seems to have picked up a really important issue in the last release (sic) from our sponsor. This is apposite

and on topic; how many of you hyperferral artists notices the singular tense for pants? yes PANT.

My grandfather used to say that you learn something new everyday and he lived to be 91 years old that means he learnt 33,215 things in his dissolute life.

Sort of - if you look at Vince Ward's kindergaten rip off of Tarkovski's masterpiece Andrei Rublev ... Navigator" you get the same feeling ... no traction in mud with bald tyres.

New is new - hard to read at first but histoire always reveals the accuracy.

see what I mean with this orijinal work.

Oh my god I am a fraud... hang on...

When I was at kindergarten art school someone - was it Gopaz taught me about - now what was it? - er - um oh that's right... Hommage.... yes that's what it was... the honour around that concept.. yes that's what it was oh and some other people at kindy later said they had never heard of Tarko so what were they doing in New York with Johnathan Dennis?

But what's new? thanks again for copying and pasting me eh... no really, really - such an hommage... I can't wait to see your finger painting.

There will be at least one person who doesn't give up, one person who does not retreat in the face of a mind in chaos. But trusting that person is another matter. When delusions and hallucinations implicate their loved ones in sinister conspiracies, they feel alone in the most fundamental of ways. It's understandable that many people give up hope and make decisions based on the need to ease the pain of the moment.

My efforts to seek help were hampered by laws that demand others being committed against their will. As the months went by, the gentle soul I had known was swallowed up by the twin demons of schizophrenia and alcoholism. I became the enemy and was therefore powerless to help. The more helpless I felt, the more hopeless the situation appeared....I began to attend support meetings and discovered that I was not alone. I read all the literature that I could find about the disease that had devastated our family. And I began to explore the mental health care system. I now knew the requirements, all the criteria. I knew the odds were not in my favour and indeed, it did not go smoothly. But I persevered, and I did finally get a hearing. I testified and prayed that the judge would see that I was a danger to myself. Thank God, he did.

thank god for dogs I say - Lou Reed... "No-one wants to be alone" "There is no solution... there is no problem" I love makin films with young people to help them with their alcoholic parents. I love my kids, friends and all of the art I have done... Am I alone? and fighting? and addicted to beating the bastards? - alcohol?, dope?, sex?,.. na not really - I don't drink, I see friends daily, kids - less than I would like and well er - a think I am quite er happy - happy enough to seek collegial spirits, brave enough to face anonymous people here. the eureka art moments of anything aproaching top shelf stuff (in my opinion - my judgement) that I have done are never manufactured they come out of life - circumstances evolve with the mind to construct a wee need to either rebel, get passionate, or use a surgical knife - I am reasonably blessed in not cowtowing to the entertainment or advertising or whatever industries even the art brigade and I like that position - then my stuff is as clean as I choose it to be. I am happy with that - I have been close to addicts... alcoholics mainly and seen first hand the mallignancies of middle and upper middle class inability to express real needs and the damage of their lovedones. My heart goes out. Oh and I have been on the blunt end of very nasty business shafting but luckily karma came and served them. I was once shown by a kaumatua how the workings of a stalking stick goes... and it was a revelation to me about how a simple tool - a piece of wood - could be used as a conduit for dialogue with one's conscience - so - often I think we do need to do what Marcel did with his bicycle wheel and - reinvent it - go back and look at the simple stuff like that stick, like unpicking many of the thread of our cultural fabric - they have become knotted, too obsessed with speed and economics rather than family, catching or growing one's own food, making ones own shelter, paint - but those who prop up the vestiges of a pretty sick, sad old system are fare game I say... for art. Good luck with your stuff - whoever you may be.
